Bethesda has announced that The Elder Scrolls: Blades, the upcoming mobile RPG will run a closed beta prior to the Early Access stage.
According an info on its App Store listing, Elder Scrolls: Blades is “Expected Mar 31, 2019,” but it’s likely that’s just a placeholder for “early 2019” and we don’t actually have to wait that long.
The closed beta will be under NDA, so those chosen to participate may not post screenshots or videos, stream the game, or discuss their experiences anywhere.
The Elder Scrolls is highly popular amongst hardcore gamer. You can play some sort of Elder Scrolls on almost any platform you like, from traditional video game systems to the Nintendo Switch to your Amazon Echo.
And in early 2019 (following an initial delay), the first-person fantasy franchise is coming to yet another platform with a mobile version titled Elder Scrolls: Blades.
The closed beta will be on the Apple iOS only, but Android players will be able to play as well when the game opens to Early Access sometime this upcoming spring. Early Access will lift the NDA. To sign up for a chance to play early, visit the official ESO: Blades site.
